Yaan Oya sluice gates to open tomorrow morning

The sluice gates of the Yaan Oya are scheduled to be opened tomorrow morning (28), the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated.
The DMC cautions the people who reside downstream to be vigilant in this regard.
It was reported that the water level of Yaan Oya reservoir has reached 36m as Hurulu Wewa reservoir is currently spilling over.
