PNB arrests Indian with Hashish at BIA

Police Narcotics bureau (PNB) has arrested a foreign national at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) over the possession of Hashish.

The PNB officials had discovered 1 kg 280 g of Hashish concealed under a false bottom of the suspect’s luggage.

The arrested suspect is a 30 year old Indian national from Kerala, India, according to the police.

The arrest has been made last night (30) and the suspect is being held for interrogations.
