Person arrested with heroin worth Rs 18 mn

A person has been arrested at the Wellawatte Railway Station this evening (02), over the possession of heroin, stated Police Media Spokesperson.
The Colombo Range Vice Squad officer who made the arrest has discovered 1 kg 513 g of heroin on the suspect.
Reportedly, the value of the seized heroin is estimated to be over Rs 18 million.
Further investigations on the matter have been commenced.
