Kokkadichcholai OIC arrested for accepting bribe

The Officer in Charge (OIC) of Kokkadichcholai Police has been arrested while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 at the police station today (30).

The officials of Bribery Commission had made the arrest.

The Kokkadichcholai OIC was arrested this evening when he accepted the bribe from a businessman in order to not take legal action against a truck that was used to transport sand.

The said police OIC was arrested after a raid organised by the officers of Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
