President against forming national govt with single MP

President says that he is against forming a national government by joining a party with only one parliamentarian, as reported by the media.

President Maithripala Sirisena stated this addressing the National Day celebrations held this morning (04).

The commemoration of the 71st National Day of Sri Lanka is being held at the Galle Face Green under the patronage of the President.

President Sirisena says that the morality of forming a national government should be scrutinized as well.

He says he is firmly against the proposed national government.
