Lanka IOC hikes fuel prices

Lanka IOC has also increased fuel prices in view of the fuel price hike by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).

The prices have been revised with effect from midnight yesterday (13).

Accordingly the revised LIOC prices are:

Petrol (92 Octane) – Rs 132
Petrol (95 Octane) – Rs 162
Auto Diesel – Rs 113
Super Diesel – Rs 134

The CPC fuel prices were increased with effect from midnight on Tuesday (12) as per the fuel pricing formula of the government. 

The price of 92 Octane Petrol was increased by Rs. 3 per liter while 95 Octane Petrol was increased by Rs. 7 per liter.

The price of Super Diesel was also increased by Rs. 8 per liter, and the price of Auto Diesel was increased by Rs 1 per liter.
