Two arrested with over 91 kg of Kerala Cannabis

Two persons have been arrested at Point Pedro over the possession of Kerala Cannabis, stated Police Media Spokesperson.

The arrest has been made during a joint operation by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) and the Sri Lanka Navy, this morning (17).

Accordingly, the officers have found 91 kg 561 g of Kerala Cannabis on the suspects.

The arrestees have been identified to be residents of Thikkam area, aged 47 and 60, stated the police.

Further investigations are carried out by Point Pedro police.
