Ward Place in Colombo has been temporarily closed near the University Grants Commission (UGC) due to a protest by university students, Ada Derana reporter said.
He said that a group of students from the University of Ruhuna are currently staging a protest in front of the UGC.
Severe traffic congestion has been reported in the area due to the protest.
