Negombo-Colombo road closed off due to fire

The Negombo-Colombo main road has been temporarily closed off near the Wattala Police station due to a fire, stated Ada Derana reporter.

Reportedly, a fire has broken out at a textile shop in the area.

Accordingly, motorists are requested to use alternate routes.

Fire trucks of Peliyagoda Colombo fire brigade have been deployed to the scene of the fire, stated the Police.
