Cabinet approves Rs 50 wage hike for estate workers

Approval of the Cabinet of Ministers has been granted for the cabinet papers with on increasing the wages of plantation workers.

According to Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne, the Cabinet has given their approval to grant a monthly allowance Rs 50 for estate sector workers.

He mentioned this at an event held to award appointments to dental officers, at the BMICH, Colombo.
