Veteran Singer Anjalin Gunathilaka passes away

Veteran Singer Anjalin Gunathilaka has passed away today (29), at the age of 79.

Family sources said she had been receiving medical treatments at the National Hospital in Colombo at the time of her death.

Anjalin Gunathilaka is the singer of more than 30 iconic songs including Miyuru Pem Madirawe, Sara Sande, Pata Podak Thilakala and more.

She has also served as a playback singer for many Sri Lankan movies.
