Container carrying 1200 gas cylinders veers off expressway

A container truck transporting 1200 gas cylinders going off had caused an accident at Dodanduwa area on the Southern Expressway.

The accident had caused damages to eleven guard posts spanning on a distance of 12 meters.

It is suspected that the accident has been caused by the driver of the truck falling asleep mid-driving.

Reportedly, the driver is not injured in the accident.
