Flights diverted to Mattala due to bad weather

UPDATE (5:57) : Flights UL 365 from Jakarta & UL 303 from Singapore to Katunayake have also been diverted to Mattala International Airport.

 

A flight en route to the Bandaranaike International Airport from Malaysia was diverted to the Mattala International Airport, stated Ada Derana reporter.

The flight was diverted due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

The SriLankan Airlines flight UL 315 arriving from Malaysia has been diverted in this manner.
