Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that strict legal action will be taken against those who deliberately attempt to mislead the police.

A suspicious parcel abandoned in front of a private bank in Bambalapitiya was inspected by security forces yesterday (22).

However, it was later revealed to be a concrete block packed into a parcel.
