Two Nigerians arrested for illegal stay

Two foreign nationals have been arrested in the Ukwatte area in Avissawella police division for illegally staying in the country without valid visa.

The two suspects, Nigerian nationals aged 26 and 31, were arrested last evening based on information received by Avissawella Police.

They are to be produced before the Avissawella Magistrate’s Court today (3) while police are conducting further investigations.
