Kuliyapitiya SP transferred

The Superintendent of Police (SP) in charge of Kuliyapitiya Police Division, Oshan Hewawitharana, has been transferred to Kalutara Police College, the Police Spokesman said.
The Superintendent of Police in charge of Nugegoda Division, L. S. Sigera, has been transferred to the Kuliyapitiya Police Division to serve as the SP in charge of the division.
Meanwhile SP W.M.A.R. Fernando of the Presidential Security Division has been transferred to the Nugegoda Police Division.
Kuliyapitiya was one of the police divisions where curfew had been imposed on Sunday night owing to riots.
