Kishu Gomas steps down from SLTDA chairmanship

Chairman of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) Kishu Gomas has decided to step down from his position.

Speaking to Ada Derana, he said the resignation was tendered to Minister of Tourism and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga.

Kishu Gomas, who headed both Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), has taken this decision to focus on rebuilding Sri Lanka’s tourism brand that suffered a blow owing to Easter Sunday attacks.
