Finance Ministry’s media director arrested for possession of ammunition

The Media Director of the Ministry of Finance Mohamed Ali Hassan has been arrested over possession of 93 rounds of 12-bore gun ammunition, stated the Police media unit.

It was reported that he was taken into custody at his residence in Malwana.

The haul was seized during a cordon and search by the Army and the Police.

The arrestee is currently being interrogated at the Biyagama Police, the police added.
