Police Spokesman urges not to believe rumours on school security

Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara assures that rumours that are spreading concerning the security at schools are baseless.

Accordingly, he urged the public not to believe the rumours.

Speaking to Ada Derana, the Police Spokesperson added that the security forces patrolling the schools have ensured the safety of the students.

The government has taken measures to tighten security at schools across the country in the wake of the attacks that took place on Easter Sunday.
