Mother & 2 children killed by train at Kollupitiya

A mother and her two children have died after being hit by a train near the Kollupitiya Railway Station this evening, the Police Media Spokesperson stated.
They were reportedly hit by the Aluthgama-bound train which had departed the Fort Railway station at around 6.20 p.m.
The incident has taken place near the Sunhil Hotel in Kollupitiya.
Kollupitiya Police is conducting further investigations.
