Fire erupts in matchbox factory in Katugastota

A fire has broken out in a matchbox factory at Aladeniya in Katugastota, stated the Police Media Unit.
Reportedly, the Kandy fire brigade and Katugastota Municipal Council along with the residents of the area are currently attempting to douse the flames.
The fire had erupted in a two-story building belonging to a private company, stated the police.
No casualties are reported in the fire and Katugastota Police are conducting further investigation on the matter.
