Power interruptions as CPC suspends fuel supply to CEB

Several areas in the country may experience power cuts which could last for about 1 hour, states the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

The sudden interruption to the power supply is due to Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) suspending fuel supply to the thermal power plants.
