Bangladeshi wanted for Rs 2 mn fraud arrested

A foreign national wanted over a financial fraud of Rs 2 million has been arrested by the Police in Narammala, last evening (11).

The suspect has been arrested in an investigation carried out by the Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau.

The arrested suspect is a 52-year-old Bangladesh national, according to the Police.

He will be presented before the Fort Magistrate’s Court today (12).
