2,901 indictments forwarded to high courts - AG’s Dept.

The Attorney General has concluded action on 4,390 criminal cases within the first seven months of 2019, says the Attorney General’s Coordinating Officer State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne.

Meanwhile, 2,901 indictments have been forwarded to high courts while 242 suspects were discharged, the AG’s coordinating officer further said.
