Bill to repeal death penalty tabled at parliament

A Bill on repealing the death penalty was presented to the parliament today (01) by MP Bandula Lal Bandarigoda.

The Bill was tabled as a Private Member’s Bill.

The proposal was seconded by UNP MP Mylvaganam Thilakarajah.
