Maithri Gunaratne tenders resignation

Central Province Governor Maithri Gunaratne has tendered his resignation to the Presidential Secretariat.
He was appointed as the governor of Central Province on the 4th of January this year.
On January 18, Gunaratne was appointed a President’s Counsel by President Maithripala Sirisena.
