GCE A/L exam commences today

The G. C. E. Advanced Level Examination for the year 2019 commences at 2,678 examination centers across the country today (05).

The Department of Examinations said 339,369 candidates are to sit for the A/L Exam this year at 2,678 examination centres while this includes 198,229 new applicants.

The department urges the candidates to be at their respective examination center by 8 am today.

This year’s Advanced Level Examination will be held from August 05 to August 31 while the Grade 5 Scholarship Exam took place yesterday (August 04, 2019).

The Department of Examinations had banned all tuition classes, lectures seminars and workshops related to the 2019 A/L exam from midnight on July 30.
