President said he won’t extend his term - Deshapriya

Chairman of the Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya stated that President Maithripala Sirisena had informed him that he would not be extending his term of presidency.
Therefore, holding of the election on the due times would be possible, the Chairman stated.
Deshapriya expressed these views commenting to the media in Anuradhapura.
