Bank accounts of 41 Easter attack suspects frozen; Rs 1 billion assets identified

The bank accounts belonging to 41 suspects linked to the Easter Sunday attacks, containing some Rs 134 million in total, have been frozen, the Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

Further, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has also identified assets valued at around Rs 1 billion belonging to these individuals, he said.
