Mahinda made Leader of SLPP

The Leader of the Opposition Mahinda Rajapaksa has been appointed as the Leader of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

Chairman of SLPP Prof. G. L. Peiris handed over a token of leadership to Rajapaksa at the SLPP National Convention which commenced a short while ago.
