GMOA to go on strike from Monday

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) is set to launch an island-wide strike action from next Monday (19).

The GMOA Secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthge stated this speaking to the media.

The strike action will be set off over the failure to legalize minimal standards for medical education, the GMOA secretary added and several other demands.
