Heavy traffic on Marine Drive

Heavy traffic congestion is reported from the Marine Drive between the Kollupitiya junction and Wellawatte, stated the Police Media Spokesperson.

Motorists are urged by the Police to use alternative routes when traveling in the area.

Accordingly, vehicles coming towards Colombo can use the Galle Road while the vehicles going towards Galle can use the R.A. De Mel Mawatha (Duplication Road).
