Parliament adjourned due to lack of govt MPs

Parliament was adjourned until September 17 as there was an insufficient number of Government MPs present in the House today, Ada Derana reporter said.

He said that after Chief Government Whip Gayantha Karunathilaka announced the withdrawal of the government’s affairs scheduled for the day, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya adjourned the House until September 17.
