President calls urgent Cabinet meeting

An emergency meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers has been called at 3.00 p.m. today (19).
President Maithripala Sirisena has reportedly called the special Cabinet meeting while all Cabinet Ministers have been notified to attend the meeting.
Speaking to reporters following an event this morning, Minister Navin Dissanayake also confirmed that a Cabinet meeting has been called for today.
