Elections Commission urges trade unions to call off strikes

The Elections Commission has urged all trade unions currently engaged in trade union action to call off their strikes through discussions.

This is to facilitate the upcoming elections, stated the Chairperson of the Elections Commission Mahinda Deshapriya.
