Australian falls to death from 33rd floor of hotel

A foreign national has reportedly fallen to his death from the 33rd floor of a hotel at Union Place, Colombo 02.

The deceased has been identified as a 52-year-old Australian male, police said.

The Police Spokesman said that an investigation has been launched into the incident based on information received by police last night. 

Meanwhile the postmortem examination on the body is to be carried out later today (11).
