President calls for maximum security for presidential candidates

President Maithripala Sirisena has advised relevant authorities to provide the maximum security to all candidates of the Presidential Election 2019.
The President has mentioned this at the Security Council meeting today (15), stated President’s Media Division.
Accordingly, President Sirisena has instructed security chiefs to take relevant measures to provide security as per requests by candidates.
