Minor tornado observed in Jaffna

Pannai area in Jaffna has experienced a small tornado situation, last evening (15), according to Ada Derana reporter.
The residents in the area say that the small tornado was witnessed when it started to rain.
The tornado had lasted for about 5 minutes and no injuries or damages have been reported in the incident.
Tornadoes are said to be caused by the pressure that builds during rain or before it starts raining.
