BIA Duty Free employee caught smuggling out gold

An employee of the Duty-Free complex at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has been caught while attempting to smuggle out gold biscuits.
According to Ada Derana reporter, the suspect has been arrested while smuggling out 40 gold biscuits.
Reportedly, the haul of gold biscuits is estimated to be worth Rs 32 million.
