Ocean waves have been swashing in on to the Galle road along the coastal line from Kahawa to Telwatta Junction.

This has created traffic congestion in the area, according to the office of the Police Media Spokesperson.

Reportedly, this is over the sand and garbage that has ended up on the road carried by the ocean waves.
