A person has been shot dead inside a restaurant located in Galagedara area in Padukka.
According to the Police, two gunmen wearing full-face helmets had arrived at the restaurant and fled the scene after opening gunfire at the victim.
The 39-year-old shooting victim succumbed to injuries upon admittance to the Padukka Hospital.
He was identified as a person living in the same area.
