Eight arrested for photographing ballot paper

Eight individuals have been arrested by the Police for photographing the ballot paper while casting their votes, the Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Meanwhile, 18 others have been arrested over several offences near polling stations, the Police Spokesman said further.
Voting for the Presidential Election was carried out at 12,845 polling stations across the island.
