PM felicitates Gotabaya Rajapaksa

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has extended his wishes to President-elect Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

He issued a special communique yesterday (17) following the official announcement of the Presidential vote’s winner.

He added that, as a party that respects democracy, they intend to discuss the upcoming Parliamentary elections with the Speaker, political party leaders and the Members of the Parliament representing the ruling party.
