CID Director transferred

Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), SSP Shani Abeysekara has been transferred with immediate effect.
He has accordingly been assigned as the Personal Assistant to Southern DIG.
The National Police Commission (NPC) said the transfer made upon the request of the Acting Inspector General of Police.
