The Police Financial Crime Investigation Division should be disbanded immediately, says Chairman of the ‘Yuthukama’ conference, Gevindu Kumaratunga.
Speaking at a media briefing today, Kumaratunga said all investigative reports of the institution should be forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
He further said that the FCID was established over political purposes.
