Vehicle importers request govt. for tax relief

The Vehicle Importers Association of Sri Lanka (VIASL) has appealed to the government for a concession to the unit tax imposed on the import of vehicles.
The chairman of the Association, Mr. Indika Sampath Merenchige stated that the tax reliefs recently announced by the government have no effect on importing vehicles and market prices.
