Magazine Prison inmate shot, injured while trying to flee

An inmate of Magazine Prison has been gunned down and injured while attempting to escape, says the Commissioner-General of Police.

It is also reported that a prison warden too sustained injuries in the incident.

Both the injured inmate and the warden of them have been hospitalized.
