Air pollution in Colombo, Kandy increased significantly - NBRO

The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) says air pollution in Colombo and Kandy has increased significantly.

The senior scientist of the Environmental Division of NBRO, Sarath Premasiri stated this situation was being observed for the past few days.

Speaking to Ada Derana, Mr. Premasiri said the firework displays at the dawn of the New Year also resulted in the increase of air pollution in Colombo.
