Train derails near Maradana station

A Meerigama-bound train which set off from Colombo Fort has derailed near Maradana railway station today (25), says Railway Operations Superintendent Gamini Seneviratne.
He added that the derailment will cause delays in the scheduled train time table.
Restoring the derailed train is currently underway.
