CID records statement from Ranil on Easter attacks

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has recorded a statement from former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, regarding the Easter Sunday terror attacks.

The CID had previously informed court that they are expecting to record statements from former President Maithripala Sirisena and former PM Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Statements are also to be recorded from former Governors Azath Salley and M. L. A. M. Hizbullah while the CID has reportedly already grilled former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and former State Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardena.
